Singularity
Summit
Europe

On November 19-20, 2014, Singularity University Summit Europe took place for the first time in Amsterdam. It is one of the largest two-day events in Europe aimed at bringing awareness about exponential technologies and their impact on business and policy to thought leaders and executives from breakthrough companies. Theme of this unique event was: 'Ignition: Embrace tomorrow by launching today'

There were great keynotes in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Additive Manufacturing, Genetic Engineering, Biotechnology and many more. And PCH INNOVATIONS had the honor to present our concept for the integration of Brain-Computer-Interfaces into Cars – all that in front of our science & innovation hero's Peter Diamandis, Daniel Kraft, Salim Ismail, Rob Nail, John Hagel, etc.

Summit
Mind
the
Baby

A 15 feet long African baby drifts peacefully along the Rostock harbor. She is the only refuge for a desperate group of people who are at the mercy of the currents. A paradoxical image with reversed roles. White skinned human beings seeking safety in Madele, the baby representing the African continent. With this event dropping knowledge continues its art project focusing on one of the main issues of the G8 Summit: Africa. Just after her birth, Madele was floating on the river Spree in Berlin and eight water skiers who represented the leaders of the G8 member states skied right past her.

The art project in 2007 was made possible thanks to the dropping knowledge network. Different partners have come together to give their contribution and creativity to the “dropping knowledge summercamp.”

Internationally renowned artist Ernst Handl created Madele. Ralf Schmerberg, artist and film-maker, directed the viral spots. Stefan Liske, Partner of PCH INNOVATIONS, and trigger happy productions GmbH were responsible for idea, concept and production.

Endeavoring to explore our future, we set out to define our history, refine our approach, and reveal the true nature of our work.

We constantly look inward, intently rewriting our narrative as we venture, learn, attain new understandings and shift perspectives. We are the creative impulse of visionary artists, scientists, engineers, designers and innovators of countless kind, searching for new solutions to coming challenges through myriad platforms.

As one method to articulate who we are and what we do, we published an elaborately detailed and designed hardbound book, available in limited quantities.

This self-titled book takes the reader through the journey of PCH, illuminating our origins, thinking, development, case histories, discoveries and aspirations. Delve into the unknown with us…
